Hi my friend! Beautiful WW pic, and congrats to you on the award! It is well deserved :-) And last but not least - what a fabulous bird! I believe it's a crane? How cool. One of these days (months/years) I am going to get myself a wee pair of binoculars and a bird book, and hie myself to the nearest birdwatching place. TGIF to you!
It is funny to see these larger birds grazing in the neighborhoods. They have caught on to the numerous fish ponds that are man made and well stocked with yummy snacks!
Here they Are, in my neighbors pond! 
Thanks goodness they have netting over it to protect the many huge koi that are living there.

I love those birds, but they are so destructive to ponds. Mike had to do the same thing down at Uncle Russel's nursery!
Wow. this is the second blog I saw with this type of bird posted. I caught a pic of one a couple weeks ago in my area as well.
