FUN MONDAY
SOME OF THE THINGS I LOVE TO DO DURING THE SUMMER ARE, AS FOLLOWS.
SIT ON MY FRONT PORCH AND ROCK IN MY ROCKER. USUALLY LISTENING TO MY IPOD and enjoying a glass of wine.
SIT OUTBACK IN MY YARD AND SWING
WATCH A BEAUTIFUL SUNSET
WAIT FOR THE BIRDS TO COME TO THE BIRD BATH
BE STILL AND PHOTOGRAPH THE WILD LIFE
PLANT FLOWERS AND CARE FOR THEM LIKE THEY ARE MY CHILDREN. MY ACTIVITIES HAVE CHANGED OVER THE YEARS. I HAVE LEARNED TO BE STILL AND TAKE IT ALL IN...AND GUESS WHAT! I LOVE IT.
HOW DO I STAY COOL??? FIRST OF ALL I DRINK PLENTY OF WATER
AND THANK GOD FOR CENTRAL AIR. IF ITS TOO HOT N HUMID AND YOU SWEAT JUST SITTING STILL,AND THE BUGS ARE BITING.... THAT'S WHEN I GO IN THE HOUSE WHERE IT'S COOL!

Lucky Janis to have that wonderful--I think--wraparound porch. They're just made for being still and appreciating life in the summer. We have similar tastes in shutters. Now I'm trying to remember what this style is called. Your flowering containers are truly works of art--lovely. Thanks for giving us should an enjoyable FM topic.

You know the front porch is where I spend my spare time too! It is so lovely to sit and meditate and enjoy the outdoors. Your flowers look beautiful! Here it is another beautiful day in PA!!!

I think that's a lovely way to spend long summer days.
We could be living in the same house! All of the rocking, swinging, bird and bunny watching goes on around our place, too. I too, am learning to be still and take it all in.
Thanks for a great Fun Monday, even though I am a bit late getting around to visiting everyone. I love your front porch - our house doesn't have one and I'd sure love to have a nice porch with a couple of rocking chairs!
Learning to be still and pay attention to the little things is a lesson I'm still trying to learn.

Oh how I love your green grass! I would just be laying in it and looking up! Divine! Thank you for hosting last week and bumping me, I have been in a rut as far as blogging goes but so miss my fun monday friends. Am really trying to make an effort to keep up now!
