we have been there several times. love the area. great angle. a must see when in west va for sure. ( ;
It's really pretty. I don't remember seeing it from my trips to Harper's Ferry, but then again, that was many, many years ago!! Thanks for sharing it this week.
I will have to keep an eye out for this when we are driving through WV in November.

With those stone walls, not surprised that there are Irish in the original neighborhood. :-) What a great perspective from which to shoot that first photo, Janis. Or, were you just trying to decide if you needed to climb the steps to get the perfect shot?

You can do lots of huffing and puffing when visiting Harper’s Ferry. It is Bud’s favorite place to go because the headquarters of the Appalachian Trail Conservancy is there…and the old hotel…and lots of history, This is such a nice church.
