There's nothing that makes a fence prettier than having flowers growing through it. I love this photo...it reminds me of a similar fence along the bike path/walking path that we walk along in Portland Maine along the waterfront. It has wild roses growing through it all summer long.

I love this fence! I would love to know how old it is. I didn't participate again cause I knew we were going to be leaving and I wouldn't get to visit everyone. Should be able to participate next week if nothing happens.

That's a beautiful old iron fence...you don't see many of those around here.
That fence has a really beautiful rusty patina to it! I also really love the pink blooms - I don't see those around here at this time of year.

This fence reminds me of a fence from the neighborhood where my husband and I first lived in the early years of our marriage. Thanks for the memory.
These old iron fences are just perfect to "prop" up all the flowers and shrubs behind it. Love the graceful caps or whatever the top thingeys are called in architectural jargon.
