and the 3rd one is like buttermilk pancakes!
Strange, but they sure make for great images! Very pretty!
Cool! I love looking at things close up through a camera lense--fungi being one. Thank goodness we've had enough rain to make them grow. Also like different lichens on rocks and trees.
I've seen the same thing around here. Funny that when it get's to wet from all this rain, these start to appear. I've seen some ones that are red in color, and dark brown. Would not be a good idea to eat them, unless you know what to pick.
Cool shots of the mushrooms. Great closeups!
We get one blah variety occasionally, yours are interesting shapes and colors.
Hi Jan and Jer,I'm back to tell you that I left an award for you over on my blog.Hugs,Lois
The moisture brings out strange things from the earth. The rubbery texture makes them feel artifical. The kids like picking them and throwing them on the driveway and watching them explode.
very weird indeed! and i know! so much rain! it seems that lot's of places get too much and then some places like Texas just don't get enough!Leontien
Jan, They look good enough to eat.. well maybe not the last one. Hugs,Pam
They are big too! Here's hoping the rain heads south soon, we've had enough and they need it badly!
Oh, I love mushrooms. A beautiful selection! B.
