Barn Charm

I love the way the texture  turned out.  It is my very own creation and I had fun experimenting! This Barn is just up the road from my home.  I am lucky to have so many wonderful charming barns in my area!
Here is the texture I used....its a close up of a tabby wall built in the 1700;s . A gift to you from me...have fun with it!

We have a lot of old tabby ruins around here. Such a great idea. I wish I knew how to do that, one day :-)
Great photo of a great barn!

You keep surprising me! Just when I think you have shown me the most exquisite barn...another one shows up. I'm seriously going to have to make a trip to your neck of the woods.

A fine, old barn with this definite pattern and texture in the wood. I like the silo beside it too. It makes a fine post for Barn Charm.

What a nice post Jan -- I am so surprised at the number of beautiful barns people are finding (I haven't even been to the meme -- just see them at several of my favorite bloggers!) You are very generous with your photos!!

We learned a little bit about tabby as a building material when we visited Georgia and South Carolian.
