This year there is a little controversy over Pa.'s "Punxsutawney Phil." Peta has sent the groundhogs club a letter stating that they are not treating our friend P.Phil right!. I myself think they are stepping over the line...this groundhog is fed everyday and kept in a warm environment...is that not the "life of Riley" to an animal...not to mention he is safe from people who shoot these varmint's because they destroy crops n plants!!!! Anyway...I sure hope he doesn't see his shadow..because I am begging for an early spring!

That's funny. I thought that was the most absurd thing I have ever heard! Phil is treated like a king and is kept in a warm burrow during the winter months, fed daily and in a/c during the summer months! Give me a break PETA!
They are just jealous he is treated like a king.
Someone always have to gripe about something. You can't make everyone happy.
I'm pretty ticked at Phil right now.
