Pixies Three - Birthday Party (1963)

Today our quaint little town of Hanover Pa. Celebrated their 250 yr anniversay of  the  founding of the town.  A parade was the start of the festivites.  Then the square was the place to be for the intertainment. Jer and I went just to see one of our favorite girl groups of the 60's  The Pixies Three!  We had no idea that all three of them were born and raised right here in the town we call home..Hanover Pa.    It was a fun way to spend the day.  Here they are now.. ...the years have been good to them! They still sound the same too!

Well isn't that super cool?!! Love that you posted the song with what they look like now. Sounds like early 60's music alright!

How fun! I've never heard of this 'girl band' but I'm sure they were popular in the 60's. I love the music of that era. The Pixies look great!

They're wonderful! I had never heard of them before, but I sure enjoyed hearing their music, and seeing them still singing together in their hometown!

They look great. I bet they sing as good as they look. They remind me of the McQuire sisters.
