Barn Charm ~ # 87

Looks like this old relic does have a new roof on it! I like the weathered wood siding and the blue
             silo!

I guess the roof is the most important part. It's a great old barn and the choice of blue for the silo is interesting.

Looks like they are try to fix it up with the new roof. And the concrete blocks maybe to replace the stone foundation.

It looks as though a new roof is just a start to restoring this old barn!

That new roof does look a little out of place with the condition of the rest of the barn. Nice capture.

Nice find! I like that old door, even though it's falling down.

That is an interesting barn - seems they are trying to keep it together, somewhat!

Must be repairing from the top down. Any idea what that rusty screen's purpose would be?

Thant blue silo is certain unique. Love that farmers are getting more creative with their colors.

The barn is a classic also.

Nice! I actually didn’t notice that the roof was new at first glance. Maybe adding trims of a different color, probably earth shades, would help lend a sort of distinction to that area of the house. But in any case, it is looking good. What about the siding? Any plans for a replacement? If so, it would be best to go for pine siding. Pine is a tested material for a barn-like structure.
