hi - came back to answer your question on the bottle thing. it's called a bottle tree. the folklore behind it says it catches evil spirits that come to your house at night. they are trapped inside the bottles until the morning light dispels them. i just think they're neat. mine is homemade, but there's all types - some are metal, some wood, some from real trees, fenceposts, etc. you can google them and see some amazing ones! :)
