This shot was taken during a visit to St.Michaels Md. last week. It looks like this was a barn turned into a garage. The peeling n chipped paint plus the rounded doors and hinges catches your eye right away! I also added a Kim Klassen texture to bring out the vintage look!
to see more barn charm just clic the pic below

Nice one. I like the rounded doors and weathered look.
The owner would probably rather have a fresh coat of paint, but it is charming as is. Love the hinges.
Very different with the rounded doors. I love peeling paint and rusty things and rotting wood. Funny they just make a picture so much more interesting to me.
Love the rounded arches on the doors. Great capture! :)
yup, love the rounded doors!
The doors are awesome on this. I don't think I've ever seen any like this before.
That's a great find, Jan, & I love the white picked fence on the side there... matches perfectly! =)
Thank you so much for joining
I don't know much about texturing, but I like the result. It's good that they are at least using this barn for something rather than letting it deteriorate. Wonderful photo.
Enjoyed your comment--thanks. :)
the doors are eye-catching. the neighbours probably aren't thrilled with the dilapidated look, but...
It was a lovely capture to begin with but the texture adds such a fabulous feel....great job!!!
I love those rounded doors, and I bet the hinges were hand made.
I love those rounded doors too, and of course the peeling paint adds lots of charm.
This is what I thought too a barn turn into a garage. Great find!
Barn Charm
I like all the different size doors. Great use of texture, again!
The texture does indeed give this barn a vintage look! Like MarieElizabeth, I like all the doors. :)
I can picture opening those doors and finding a vintage car inside. :-)
