On Saturday we went on a one day trip to "The Big Apple" it was a fun filled day of sightseeing. The highlight for me was to ride on the Staten Island Ferry, the view of the city was awesome.
This is the view from the very back of the boat!
If you look between the orange and silver building you can see a crane, that is were the Twin Towers once stood!

You got some wonderful pictures of the New York skyline. I've been to New York a couple of times and have wanted to take the Staten Island ferry, but I have yet to do it.
That sounds like a really fun day. It's been about 40 years since I've been to New York though I've travel all over the world since that time. Great photos.

Hi Jan,
You two must have had a wonderful time riding the ferry and enjoying the beautiful NYC sights.
Its an exciting city to visit, isn't it.
I think the NYC skyline is a memorial all on its own!!! Love it.
My Watery photos are about the 'disaster area' in town during a day long rainstorm. Click Here if you'd care to join me today with your visit.
I enjoyed the ferry ride too! It was definitely the highlight of the trip! Great photos!
Lucky you! Glad you had a lovely time. Thanks for sharing.
I never realized that ferry was so huge. An amazing way to see the skyline.
B.
Lovely. So sad to see the photos without the twin towers. The New York skyline must be one of the most famous in the world.
Hugs, Cindy
