A Pets Story

FUN MONDAY
&
Happy Labor Day too!

sayre smiles is our hostess this week and here is what she wants us to do.......
I want to see your furbabies. Or scalebabies. Or finbabies. Whatever form your pet takes, I want to see a picture of it/them and hear the story of how it/they came to be a part of your family.UPDATE: Don't have pets? Share your skin-babies!!!

Since we don't have any domestic pets, this is what I came up with. All these little creatures hang around my house and gives me such joy to watch them. It almost feels like they are pets, I feed them and give them fresh water everyday. It is one of the things I look forward to every summer. Now go on over to Sayre's place and see some more pets.

Hooray! You got your butterfly! My favorite is the pic of the birds in the birdhouse!

Happy Labor Day. When can we meet for breakfast again? I miss you!

Your butterfly reminds me of one I took in Portugal, I have it as a header on my photo blog. We don't get many really pretty butterflies where I live.

I'm with Tracey--love those chubby little birds in the house with one on roof. What are they? And like Swampy, I love your fall blog header--favorite time of the year except winter.

Have a great Labor Day, Janis--even though we're one of the lucky ones who don't have to "labor"--unless we want to.

Your pets are wild, but wonderful, and you don't have to take them to the vet.

MOther Nature provided your pets! I used to have rabbits in my yard when I lived in Oklahoma - loved to watch the babies come out of the burrow for the first time, grow up and hop away...

Your "pets" are gorgeous - and no vet bills!

Lovely! I love to see free animals. Unfortunately our dogs won't let them in our yard.

D'oh! I should read the other comments before I leave one. Ok, let's try this - Those pets are for the birds.

ooh I LOVE all these pictures. Last year in the summer I had a ton of 'guests' visiting our yard and a ton of pictures. Now we don't really have anything. you are so lucky! My post is up now, better late than never!

Hello my friend! I'm just now making the FM rounds, sorry I'm late.

You're like my mom, I think - a full-time pet wouldn't suit her lifestyle at the moment, but she has a beautiful birdfeeder and she looks out for a homeless cat who, without her, probably wouldn't be around now. And of course, she is "Grandma" to my animals and she is always ready to babysit her "grandkitties" if J and I need to go away. Beautiful outdoor furry and feathery family!

And thank you so much for sharing my joy at Kilkenny's victory. I wanted to wear my team jersey to work today, but unlike a Redskins or Ravens jersey, nobody would know what it means so there's no point. I'm so glad that I got to share my joy with you all - it helped me to keep the party going!
