WHAT'S GROWING IN YOUR GARDEN? (or yard, or patio pot). Please post a picture.
Do you have a flower that is just blooming its little heart out? Maybe you have a prize pumpkin that is promising to be the belle of Halloween. I know that all my Southern Hemisphere friends are in the middle of winter - but they can find something growing, too!!! (it might be their waistline!).
This has been a wonderful summer for all the beautiful flowers. We have been fortunate to have plenty of rain and everything is so healthy looking and thriving. My coreospis has been blooming profusely since June.
The petunias planted in pots on my patio are going wild. They are so hearty and love the sun.
This potted plant on my front porch has not stopped blooming since I received it for Mothers day! (I don't know the name, if you do please tell me)
This Hibiscus is in my neighbors yard. I couldn't resist taking a photo ...., just look how big the blooms are, just beautiful!
So there you have it....now go see what the others have growing in their garden! Thanks for hosting Karmyn.

I have tons of hibiscus in my own yard....I do love them so. From reds, to pinks and yellows.
YOUR flowers however, are so pretty!!! [wish we had had rains]...we have been in a sever drought...so, what's growing in my yard is totally colorless. LOL]

Wow, Janis - I didn't realize that hibiscus could thrive up here in the PA/MD area! I thought I needed to travel to Florida to get my hibiscus fix, but all I needed to do was bounce over here :-)

Great photography, Janis! I'm glad you've been able to keep your lovely blooms growing and healthy--best way to "decorate" your outdoor spaces. Now you've got me trying to think of the name of your mystery Mother's Day plant. Know it's related to the flower shape--something like a chicken or duck's foot. Before the day's out some smart Fun Monday gardener will solve the mystery.
Very colorful! I don't know what that is in the Mother's Day pot, but it's lovely!!! Does it smell good too?

Your mother's day flower must be a spring bloomer -- I can't see it well enough to even take a guess.
The purple reminds me of a little aster that I had growing in my garden several years. My asters all died and I never replaced them.

Yes, all of your flowers are blooming and thriving so nicely. I went away for one day and came back to fried flowers. It just so happened to be the hottest day of the year! I hope I can revive them all.

The name of your Mothers Day plant is a Fairy Fanflower or Purple Fanfare (Scaevola aemula).
I love them! Yours is beautiful. I planted several last year but none survived. Not sure why because they are in my zone. Maybe I will try again!
