Good Fences # 8

Hello strangers...just to let you all know I am still in the blogosphere.  I have to get out n take some more fence photos....been lazy with my camera.  I think I posted this pic a while back.  The flowers are what caught my eye...they are called  "Red Hot Pokers".  How cool looking.   I am trying to grow them here in my new home. If they bloom I will be so excited.

  7. I saw the names and thought I haven't heard from them in quite some time---works both ways of course.
Love the Red Hot Pokers (Kniphophia?). I got a pkg from Costco two years ago---little guys and they bloomed last year and this year there are 25 blooms. I have tried from 4 inch post from the nursery but no luck. Now I'm gold.

  11. A great summer photo, Janis. Sometimes look at my blog and regret that I'm not making the effort to keep it going. Other interests. . .
