Guess what!!! the forecast is calling for more this weekend. Oh well can't fight Old man Winter...he has made his way here a week earlier and giving us some unwanted work to do! I love to see pretty winter scenes like this while I am in a nice warm house drinking hot tea, but having to go out in it is no longer fun for me. Snow is for Kids!!!!! I am dreaming of Sun and Warmth and sitting on my porch with a nice glass of wine having happy hour. Ok..my rant is now over!!! Thanks for bearing with me...haha :)

I see that your 'winter countdown' is off by a few weeks. LOL Don't you love all the snow - until it's been here more than 2 days. Makes a pretty picture, though.
Prettiest picture I've seen the snow this Christmas season. Lovely shot Janis :)
Hope you n Jer are well, happy and snug as a bug :)
Ps I love your header.
Sorry you had so much to shovel, but that image is so perfect for a Christmas Card! :) Beautiful. :))
Lovely to look at, but ...! We haven't had any snow here in my part of Scotland ...yet!
Liz
We were lucky, the snow was very light when it fell here in all three storms and we ended up with about 5 inches but to the north of me in Salt Lake, that was a different story.
gorgeous shot. so lovely. i love! ( :
Come to Palm Springs, where you can look up AT the snow, but not actually be IN it! Or, you could, if you want!
Cheryl Ann from sunny Southern California
You are better of than we have been. We have been iced in and it has been a horrible experience for Texas.
i remember those maddening (but necessary) snow plows! LOL!
Soon your favorite SIL will return and be able to help you with the snow on the driveway!
It sure looks pretty there Jan. And you're getting lots of snow already. We've had 2 small snowfalls, the first of which got rained off, and there is a big one coming this weekend. Take care. Pam
Oh how I hate it when the plow goes by after the Pres has plowed blocking our gravel road!!!! And I use my Mini Cooper to get around...:)JP
I lived in Buffalo for 20+ years and can remember being ready to burst into tears when the city plow would come down our street when we had just finished clearing the driveway. Good luck for the rest of the winter!
So beautiful....but so annoying! Sure makes for a postcard perfect photo op, though! I am with you on the warm, sunny porch. Feliz Navidad is what I want to say! From my hacienda in Tucson! (In my dreams) xo Karen
Gorgeous shot! Yes, the snow plows can be a pain!
What a pretty scene- but I am so glad it hasn't happened here yet..I need to finish my shopping and not many folks around here know how to drive on snow and ice!
Lovely photo. Hopefully the early winter means we'll have an early spring as well.
Sure makes a pretty picture, though!
Oh, but it does make for pretty pictures. And I have to say I absolutely love your header shot!
Be brave! Soon time for you to head further south for the winter, right? Me, never too much snow. This is a beautiful scene--looks like the people who live here really love winter. :-)
