Healing WatersI

What a cool little town Berkeley springs WV is!!!  Jer and I figured that if it was ok with George Washington, then it was ok with us!!!    He visited there quite often and between him, his family and friends, they owned most of the town.  It's true about the water temps too...we know cause we dipped our feet in the stream pictured above and sure enough...it was nice and warm!!!  This little town has a spa on every corner.  It is still very popular to soak in the warm springs and then get a massage.  We didn't partake in this activity this time around...but if we ever get back to this charming town, we are going to take advantage of it.  After all as the sign says, it heals lots of ailments and we do have some of them!  We did drink some of the water out of the public fountain and all of a sudden we had a lot more energy..hmmmmm makes you wonder!!!

very cool. i wish there were more 'natural' spas left, though. they commercialize these places so much.

Even if the leaves were not in full display, looks like you found many interesting and picturesque stops.

I definitely would have taken advantage of the warm spring waters and then had a massage!

A fine post of this great sounding place. Warm water would be so nice compared to spring that are so hot they make many people uncomfortable.
