i definitely love the mottled coloration it lends. :)pretty shot, janis.
okay - let me add, just not on my car. :)
A bit of both I think. I love these old style of wire fences. Pamela
Good style to cover the area...
it's the sense of age that does it for me.
I love the rust on those fences.
I think it's the colour AND the texture, :)) For sure, I like to photograph rusty things.
I'm just fond of anything old {my husband says that's why I love him ;)!}Thanks for hosting; enjoy your weekend!
Rust was a prompt word in a writing meme i participate in this week. It does give things a certain charm.
i like the simplicity of this rusty little fence!
i would say a bit of both. ( :perfect either way.
I like the feeling that it's been around for a while.
Oh, Jan, love this...I really have a soft spot for this type of fence. I think it is the rust that appeals to me.
Something about that color!
Most time times things that are in bad shape makes the best sights and photos. Nicely done.
Oh the texture I think- and I love the colour from the flowers in this picture!
It is probably both but then is has a story too.
I would have to say both color and texture. I feel a bit rusty sometimes :) Thank you for hosting! xo
I think it is a sense of history, of things having seen many days before this one.
I like the color and the texture of the rust. It provides a nice contrast with the greenery. Agreeing with TexWisGirl, not on my car, though!
Thanks for hosting Friday Fences, going to go fence hoppin now and see what others have been posting!
I reckon it is the colour which adds charm. I have a rusty wheel which my hubby wants to paint, but I want to leave it as is.
It is the rust that draws me in, also peeling paint does it for me too.
I didn't get a fence posted this week, but sure do like yours. Great color. I agree the rust certainly adds something to a photo. Not only is it the texture, but it speaks to the passage of time.
