LACKADAISICAL TIMES

HELP...THIS IS HOW I HAVE BEEN FEELING LATELY!   MAYBE IT'S THE WEATHER N ALLERGY SEASON.  JUST CAN'T GET MOTIVATED.  LOSING INTEREST IN SOME THINGS THAT HAVE BROUGHT ME GREAT JOY IN THE PAST!  I AM JUST GOING TO KEEP THE FAITH THAT THIS TOO SHALL PASS.  MY LIFE IS A BLESSING AND I HAVE NO REASON TO COMPLAIN ABOUT ANYTHING!  HANG IN THERE WITH ME MY FRIENDS...MY BLOGGING IS TAKING A HIT WITH THIS ATTITUDE.

Even though lackadaisical sounds like it has something to do with a shortage of daisies, know that what it really means is lacking in spirit or liveliness.
A person with a lackadaisical attitude shows no enthusiasm and puts forth a half-hearted effort. But it's more of a dreamy, laid back approach rather than sheer laziness. This funny-sounding adjective came about in the eighteenth century from the interjection lackaday, which was an old fashioned way of saying "oh man!" or "unfortunately."

THIS SHOT DOES MAKE ME SMILE...SO I GUESS THERE IS HOPE :)
GOTTA GET MY CREATIVE JUICES FLOWING AGAIN

You have company--
I have been having a hard time with this too for about 6 weeks and it is worse now---I do have some health issues that could be adding to it--but have had them along time==so?
I could always stay busy before doing something in my rocker--stitching or reading--but find that even hard right now--so just know that you are not alone in this fight!!
hugs, di and miss gracie

We all have those times occasionally. Sometimes taking a break is good or maybe changing directions with what isn't interesting to you anymore. We all need to keep growing and changing. Or maybe some allergy meds would do the trick. I know I've been sneezing like crazy!

Beautiful cheerful shot!

I know how you feel, I've been in a bit of a funk myself lately. Maybe a little break would make you feel energized!

We should make a print of our beautiful bright sunflower photos and hang them up where they will cheer us. I'm in the same mood here due to the continuous rain and cold. I need some sunny cheer don't you? Blessings, Pam

It happens to all of us. I usually don't fight it and it passes.

Beautiful sunflower shot!

I deleted my blog twice in the past 2 months for the same reason....also I was being plagued with spam and my email address had been stolen and I had to change my password....and I blamed it all on my blog. I've come to my senses now and am feeling better...got the comment moderation turned on and NO MORE SPAM COMMENTS! Love it! AND my email has been straightened out. I had a month and a half that I didn't blog and I felt liberated by not blogging....but after a while, I missed everyone so much. You might just take a break like TexWisGirl suggested. It does help.

It's a gorgeous, and very uplifting photo. I know what you are talking about! I went through that about a month ago for over two weeks. Blogging falls by the wayside, even when you miss your blogger friends. Now that I am of a sunnier disposition, I have had some things in my schedule get in the way, and now I am WAY behind with everyone!:-(

I hear you friend. Even Chet hasn't had much to say lately! :-)

I'm juiced about some of the photo topics I've gotten interested in lately and spend a lot of time researching and editing photos. What I'm not getting around to is comment on fellow bloggers' posts. That's a real blogging downfall. To me blogging is not performance art, it's a conversation and I feel badly when I don't visit my friends.

Maybe fewer posts each week?
