What a cool find Jan.
I didn't know about Alice, and just read your rememberance of her. You gave a wonderful tribute.
I missed your earlier post. I am so sorry for your loss.
What a great fence. It makes me think of Tom Sawyer whitewashing Aunt Becky's fence. :-)
Bless your heart, your one special lady, Janis.
take care :)
What great fence and photo that is
This must be what a cow sees looking across the road at a cow behind another fence. Double bars...
I'm sorry for your loss.
Thanks for hosting Friday's Fences. I like your photo.
Great fence through a fence! Really interesting!
I am so sorry to hear that you recently lost a dear friend. May God give you comfort and strength, and your friend's family also.
I am very sorry about the loss of your dear friend.
That's really cool! The foreground fence is very unique, too!
Like Brian I like the unique rustic fence.
There must be more to the story behind the shot. :)
That is a nice fence, it is called here an english country fence and we had one in our garden a while ago.The see through is very special.
a two for one special today!
Love your "double fence"!
So sorry about your friend. One of our friends has just come home with hospice, nearing the end of her journey....
I love this shot. I wasn't sure what was fence and what was the view through it - very fun!
May your wonderful memories of your dear friend keep you warm this winter.

Fun seeing the fence through the fence.
Thinking of you during your loss.
I love the contrast between the two fences!!
Like you many other bloggy friends, I have had you in my thoughts this week, Janis. Hope you are comforted by all the fond remembrances of your dear friend. In January this year I lost a friend of almost 30 years and still need to get together with mutual friends and share our memories of the pal we have lost.
Your fence photo--another delightful example of how photographers look at the world from unexpected angles. :-)
So sorry about your friend. It is so hard to lose a dear friend especially to such a cruel disease. My sincere sympathy.
Wonderful double fence this week.
My heart goes out to you at the loss of your friend. I'm so glad you have so many dear memories of this wonderful lady.
Love and peace.
Thank you for sharing your memories of your friend.
I like your fence back of another fence. Neat shot with such good color.
