I like the look of this - and the windows - louvered windows on a barn? How fancy! Looks like it is pretty close to a road - wonder how many times that stone corner has been hit! This is a great find!

Agree with Linda--quite fine windows for a barn. Wonder if it was used for something else in another life? You live in a "barn rich" area Janis--so many great finds.

Great barn. I love the colors of the barn and the blue of the sky. Great shot!

Loving the 'shabby chic' look of the barn - color and windows make it really stand out!

This charmer has a lot of character! I agree, the peeling paint looks cool. I just hope they don't let it go too far and she starts to crumble.

I like how they got so creative w/ the windows, or are those shutters or tobacco slots? I'm not sure, I just know I love shooting these old barns, whatever they may have housed! LoL!

Thank you, Jan =)

Oh, the stories it could tell! Lovely. You know, I actually took a picture of a barn and thought of you :) Will have to post sometime.

I love those shutters and the detail around the top window. But I'll bet it was the farmer and not the farmer's wife who decided to wrap that pipe around the building!

I like this very much too - mainly because of the peeling paint but also the patterns the windows make.

Somehow I overlooked your wonderful barn this week. I need to go back and check the list of participants so I do not miss anyone. This one show age, use, and a lot of personality. The blue sky, though, is what sets it off so beautifully. Nice capture. genie

Janis, that is a charming barn! I love the color and the weathered look. I also like your angle and the color contrast of the sky.
