Queens Ann's Lace is one of the prettiest wild flowers. Here is a little tip for you....put a little food coloring in water with this little beauty n watch it turn the same color. My kids loved doing this when they were little! Try it!!

Absolutely beautiful macros ~ thanks for the tip ~~ thanks, namaste, (A Creative Harbor)
I've always been a fan of these, and last week I discovered a plant growing much like this only with deep yellow petals, I still have to research what they were. But they are surely old as well, because they were growing at an old church!
Very cool! I'd never heard of the food coloring trick!
Some may call QAL a weed, but I call it a beauty--especially in your photos. For years my go to wall paint has been Porter's Queen Anne's Lace--perfect soft white.
Hi Jan,
Beautiful photo of the Queen Anne's Lace. It is such a delicate and pretty wildflower. I will have to remember to add food coloring to the water. Thanks for the tip.
I like the new header!
i think they're so pretty, too. :)
I love Queen Ann's lace to. I used some in table bouquets that I made for a pie and ice cream social at church last week. I forgot to take pictures.
Love your new header picture!

Beautiful p ics! I'll have to try the food coloring thing. We have tones of Queen Anne's Lace around this year.
Hello friends,
Love the Queen Anne's Lace. I love to photograph it too, but my new neighbor told me it attracvts chiggers. Never even heard about chiggers ever. She had me google it and now I stay away from this beautiful wild flower. I'm still not too sure if they are in our area but I wont chance it. Nice photo's!
Stay focused,
~Shirley
That is a very good idea. I will pick them today and put some food color it would be nice to see the color chance tomorrow. ^_^ Thanks for the visit.

Beautiful shots. Queen Anne's Lace is in full glory here right now.
We did this when we took the youngest camping in June. He loved it - was so proud of his flowers! Just beware of the chiggers - I am dealing with my 2nd bout this summer! They really are pretty flowers though!
We have queen anne's growing wild all over the field out back. I don't remember doing that as a kid, Mom. But I am willing to try it as an adult!
I have always loved Queen Anne's Lace! Beautiful photos!
This is beautiful - so delicate!!
