i think the moss looks rather cool!!! we don't see much moss here in texas - too dang hot and dry, mostly.

My first thought was that it looks like moss...especially since there appears to be moss on the red barn as well.

I really love this shot!

I'd think moss with those overhanging trees to keep everything wet. Lost of interest in this pic--the quirky fence line, the brooding old tree, and great colors all around.

You had a good 4th?

I vote for moss too. I do love the colors.
Have a happy weekend.

My first thought was moss...so I'm going with that.

Yep, I believe it is a form of moss or mildew that has formed on the fence. There must not be too much sunlight on that side of the fence. Great shot.

It looks rather wonderful - everywhere round here has the same green coating, we are having a very wet summer! I love the higgledy-piggledy top line too.

Based on the photo, it looks like moss. Really nice scene with the barn!

There is so much of interest in this photo! The fence line, the colors... this is a neat piece of rural life! And, I have to agree - probably moss -

Oh, but I love it! Definitely "shabby chic", huh??

My vote goes to moss. It's a really cool fence whatever it is.

I would guess moss, as there is some on the barn, too. I really like this capture!!

I think it's moss! I like the color contrast between the barn, fence and tree.

That is different, but I like it!

hmmm, i'm gonna guess it's moss... we used to have moss on wood & rocks, but too hot & dry these days! =0 Great fence shot, esp w/ the red... is that a barn? =)

Great shot of the fence covered in moss! Thanks for hosting :)

Awesome fence! I love the colors to go with the red of the barn!

wow, that moss has really taken over. guess they get lots of rain around there. we have lots of moss on our rocks sometimes with excess rain. which we so need. have a great weekend. how is your weather lately? hot here in VA. (:

My, do I like this picture. I would love to have it hanging over my computer. It is so neat the way the fencing wiggles along. Such a pretty shot. genie
