I am not sure he is qualified to chaperone! He definitely doesn't seem to be paying attention! Made me laugh - my first date, a school dance - my father, a Virginia State Trooper, in full uniform including gun, showed up to chaperone! The fella and I still laugh about it when we see each other!
Oh, how I remember those days. But, a chaperone did not work with our daughter. She just took to sneaking out her bedroom window to meet the guy down the block.
Needless to say some serious consequences came out of that behavior.
