The gentle lilt towards the left complements the roof line on the other building, too.

This one looks straight out of a dusty 1940's movie- great shot!

What a unique barn with it's peeling paint. Good selection.

Back in PA where the barn search is a lot easier, I would imagine? This one is quite original and, like you, love the peeling--almost whitewashed-paint.

What are you using these days for edits, Janis? Always just enough, not overdone.

I like the horizontal boards used in its construction. A very good example of old barns.

I do not know how I have missed your beautiful barns these last two weeks. My only excuse is we are in the middle of VA SOL testing at school, and when I get home I am ready to go to bed. So much stress and so many ill behaved and rude children being sent my cellblock. This old prison matron is ready for school to let out in 14 days :-) Both of your barn posts are of old and wonderful structures: one with some red paint and one with some whitewash. Both are fine examples of older barns. genie
