Barn Charm ~ # 65

Wow....I finally found a Barn in Ga. This was taken in Darien Ga.  a small quaint town just 17 miles north of Brunswick!  I guess you would call it a barn...nothing like what I am used to seeing in Pa.

Gorgeous, love those mossy trees! I bet there was some moonshine in that barn at one time?

As old as it is, the roof looks pretty sturdy to have held that big limb that's fallen across it. Nice photo, love the setting.

I say it qualifies as a barn!

It reminds me of an Indiana covered bridge - - - but where's the river!? hehehehe

Thank you for your visit to my "Uncle Harold's Barn" post today. Your affirming words meant so much to me!

If you drive I-16 from Savannah to Macon, there is a lot of farm land and lots of barns! (At least there were lots of barns when my Mom and I drove it in 1993.)

This one has lots of character! With the tree branch sitting on the bright red roof, it almost looks like it's mouth is open laughing at the trees.

I like how this barn is nestled in the big trees. Nice one for barn charm.

Just knew this was a southern barn even w/o scrolling down to your description, Janis. How I love this photo--going to be a fav from your barn collection.

I had been trying to think of where you could find a barn close by. lol Possibly on out Darien close to Subury also. Definetly on your back roads not interstates. lol I bet ya'll are enjoying this Spring like weather. When do ya'll head back North?

No barns in Georgia?? This is a nice one. Thanks for the tip about "be funky" I will check it out. Picnik says they are essentially moving to Google+, but I haven't checked it out yet.

I like this photo. It would be interesting to lighten the inside to see how it looks. I love the growth overhanging from the trees.
