I like your low angle that let's us look through to the tombstones. Wonderful shot of the fence and the lush looking grass too. Fine Friday Fences post!
This photo just couldn't be more perfect. The lighting with the sunshine, the stark contrast of the fence and posts...and the backdrop of Autumn Colors!!!
These days when it comes to cemetaries, I stay on this side of the fense also. To read the dates and then do the math the answer comes out pretty close to my age and that is scary stuff.
Nice to see a cemetery, with a simple white fence. So often, they are dark and iron.
I have nothing against iron. Just saying... ,-)

Nice fall colors in your fence shot, Janis. We use to live across the street from a cemetery and my darling little daughter would wave to the passing cars in the funeral procession. The people would just smile at her and wave back.
Thank for the Christmas web site. I gota get out and shoot some fences!
Great fence. I like the angle. I didn't get to play this week. Haven't been feeling the blog thing for the past few days. One of my good blog friends passed away last week. It's been a sad time.
Fences just lend themselves to a "long" shot, don't they? Especially these board fences. Like your idea of focusing on the view between the boards, Janis.
I didn't put up a "Friday fences" post this week since I'd spent a long time in posting "First of the Month" year in review. I'll see you this coming Friday for sure!
I think the first time I left my URL I sent the one for my entire blog instead of just the post with the fence, so I resent it and I am now on your list twice. OOPS.

a very nice fence and green grass!
Like the fence... the green grass is so pretty! =)
Here winter has only begun, and this photo of warmer times looks so inviting!
Loved your photos! I do a gardening blog in Southern Ontario. Take a look at my photos of New Zealand. I loved my visit in 2009!
Love the perspective and the light!
As Rose suggested, that warmer look is lovely. :)
Very nice. Great composition.
Can you please delete #10 post as my laptop is acting goofy and it reverted back to my other blog post! I'm sorry for this...stupid laptop!!!
My first time here! Thanks for hosting a fun meme. I like cemeteries and your view through the slats of a sturdy white fence.
This is a great shot! I am also jealous if you still have that green grass.
Good use of a different perspective for this shot. A pretty fence too.
It is a peaceful scene. I like your point of view, too.

That's a great shot, such clean lines and colors with a peek beyond the fence.
nice fence :)
first thing i thought ... that fence needs a good washing. ha. ha!! what a peaceful place to rest. (:
That is a lovely old wooden fence. I find the old cemeteries always have the most simple beautiful fences. B
Really pretty and a great capture!
a beautiful fence and I love the view through it, I like to visit cemeteries, especially old ones

That fence has some nice weathering on it. I like the view through the between the fence rails.
I love fences and I love cemeteries!

It is interesting looking through the slats! I haven't done that in years!
