Well Irene came n went without tooooo much damage! After watching the news this afternoon..it looks like the New England Sates got the worst of it!! It was a scary night listening to the rain n wind pounding against the house...but after this mornings light and taking a look outside, we were very happy to see no damage what so ever! Never even lost our power like a lot of the others. Around 2pm this afternoon the sun came out n it turned out to be a gorgeous day. Jer and I were anxious to take a ride and see some of the damage caused by the storm. We drove for miles n saw nothing but a lot of leaves on the road and some small tree limbs down. After turning into the State Park close to our house,we finally saw some downed trees. Here are a few shots of the minimal damage our neck of the woods got. We thank God for our good fortune this time!!! Prayers go out to the less fortunate!

hate to see the trees lost, but glad nothing worse in your area!
Glad to hear no one was hurt. Gee, look at all that firewood! ;)
Thankfully it was no worse than it was. We have family in Virginia Beach and they said it wasn't that bad there either.
Happy to hear that damage is not severe and all are safe.
We were spared, thank goodness!
I'm glad you made it through without damage. Seems the trees always have casualties, but at least these didn't fall on anyone.
I am glad you and Jer are well and safe. Nature always recovers quicker the we can.
hugs,
Pam
