Day Tripping

Our day trip to the  historic quaint town of Havre De Grace Md. was a really nice experience!  I had lived a big portion of my life in Baltimore Md and this was the first time visiting this town. Here are a few photos.

The Am track going over the Susquehanna river
An Osprey returning to its nest on top of a loud speaker pole!
                                                                 A bit of history
Jer climbed to the top...it wasn't very tall...

Hope you enjoyed the tour...there is a nice street with lots of shops n places to eat  also!
If your ever in the area, stop in..you will love it!

Looks like a really nice place to visit. My favorite photo is the wooden fence leaning up against the shed. Nice views of the water, too. And, of course, Jer waving. Even if it was a short lighthouse, doubt my fear of heights would have allowed it.

There's a great crab shack down on the water away from the main part of town...name escapes me right now ... but it's a favorite local place and the food is good! Great pics!

You show the attractive features of this town very well. Looks most inviting. A strong series.

Great town -- our kind of place to tour -- and I'm sorry we missed it on our trip east last summer. We were in Maryland at least. Hope we can go back sometime to catch a few more of the great places we missed.

I'm missing the short trips we used to take. Maybe next year things will be different. This looked like a wonderful time.
