Georgia Here We Come

I am happy to say that we are heading to  Brunswick Golden Isles Ga..on Sunday.   This has been  our winter getaway now for the past 5 years. Our normal routine is to leave January 1st and stay until the end of March, typical snow birds we are!!! This year has been different due to Jers health  problems. It was necessary for us to stay here in Pa. where our doctors are.  After two months we have the health issues behind us now and are ready to get down south for some warmer temps and NO SNOW!!!!!
The light house on St. Simon's Island
                                                                    The Marshes of Glynn
A daily visitor in the Marshes
I am especially looking forward to some fantastic photo ops and this year I have my new SLR camera to take with me!!!  Stay tuned...

I'll look forward to seeing those pics. We went there for vacation way back in 1973. It was a great vacation.

So lovely! Enjoy! I need my sunshine, too. Sorry Chatsworth is a little out of the way (for obvious reasons), but if you ever get in our neck of the woods, stop on in ;)

well-- since we can't go with you in person, we'll have to wait and go with you in photographs. I'm jealous!

Jan -- I hope this finds you in Georgia and having a wonderful time!!! I know all about being late-arriving snowbirds. It happened to us last season -- also for health reasons (Bill's). We got here the end of February sort of just as everybody else in our resort was already thinking of going back up North.

We stayed until mid-July last year and actually kind of liked our quiet resort.

We've had a more normal season this year, because all is well. Wishing the same to Jer for next season and that you both enjoy what's left of this year!!
