Handsome red barn and it looks to be in good shape, at least from this angle. I'm very fond of red barns!

Have you ever wondered what paint color is used to achieve this classic "barn red"? It' a color I'm fond of and tried to duplicate on a book self that I painted many years ago. It would be interesting to see the other side of this barn. Looks like there's two levels, stone and wood.

Looking forward to more barns, Janis! Great subject for photography.

I cannot help but think of remodeling barns into nice lodgey homes. Love this one!

There just aren't enough of these barns around, and I wonder if amyone out there knows how to build them like this anymore.
Love these pictures.

I like the way this barn is built down the slope of the hill. It's a handsome old barn!

Awww...memories of our old barn on our small ranch in MT. Ours started leaning after many years of flood waters. My dad would...never mind. I'm going to do a post on it. Thanks!
