Yesterday my Hubby n I took a ride into the next state over from us...that would be Maryland. We are only 4 miles from the line. Baltimore is the big city in Maryland and we had to check out the where abouts of one of the big hospitals there. I grew up in Baltimore and it has been soooooo long since I have been to "Charm City" as it is called. I was right out of high school and worked downtown. I didn't have an appreciation of the big old buildings. For two years I rode the bus into the city and hated every minute of it. Fast forward 47 years and here we are. I am glad I took my camera and would like to share some of the photos I took from the car.
Now here comes the seedy part of the City.....its known as "The Block" and this is where you can go and see S____clubs. I am not going to say it...but it rhymes with drip. I think every young man I grew up with has been here at one time or another. Mostly for bachelor parties. Some pics are blurred because we were in a moving car and I was snapping as fast as I could
.It was nice having that walk down memory lane, but it was so good to get back to our little town of Hanover Pa. My days of being a big city girl are long over. But I would like to go back with my camera and take more photos.

Baltimore is definitely a cool place to see especially because of the architecture. There's a lot of history behind those building walls.
A fun place to visit, but not live. At least not for me either. Great pics.
I always enjoy visiting Baltimore, I see something new each time. Great photos.
that last photo is really interesting to the eye...
I have heard Baltimore is a great place to visit. I enjoyed the old buildings and seeing the "seedy" side of town too! :)
I hope you and Jer are well and are not needing to visit the hospital!
The young don't appreciate old buildings...at least most don't. How lucky you are to go back and visit the ones you knew way back when. I think growing older is NOT such a bad thing. :))
I love the old architecture. We have a few old buildings left in this small town, but they are dwindling. I hate to see them replaced with the new, plain buildings.
It is sometimes fun to relive, but it never will be the same. That's why our memories and pictures are so important. I love old buldings, and Baltimore has so many brick beauties.
