Over the last weekend my three youngest grand daughters came to spend the night and help decorate our Tree.
All done...good job girls...now on to the next thing.
Around this time of year, its always fun to make a countdown to Christmas chain. You remember them don't you? I remember making them in school every December. Thanks to cousin Casey for getting all the materials ready.
They turned out really nice!
Next its time for dinner from their favorite place....you guessed it...McDonalds!Now onto another fun project...making pretzel treats...its so easy, just arrange the square pretzels onto a cooking sheet...put a candy wafer in the middle of each one.....put in a 325 degree oven for 50 seconds to melt the candy wafer.
Add either mini mnm's or a chocolate chip on each one. Put in the fridge for about 1/2 hour to speed up the process of getting hard....they are sooooo yummy!
Now for a little card game...who wants to play Go Fish!!!!
Maybe play some games on the computer....Nick Jr has some real good ones!
What a fun night we had...I just love times like this!

What a great time with your granddaughters. They are all so pretty.
Looks like you had a fun and very happy time! Paper chains...that took me back to my childhood when we used to make our own decorations. Multi-coloured paper-chains were fun to make. I remember cutting out snowflake doilies and making 3-D stars too.
Jack Frost made ice patterns on the windows, no double-glazing or central heating then.
Sweet and wonderful memories were made to be remembered. I'm sure you all enjoyed these treasured moments together.
You have a beautiful family. Life is good, isn't it Jan.
Hugs and smiles across the miles,
Pam
Looks like you had a great time with three adorable girls.
Beautiful pictures and memories that they will cherish for years to come.
And a lovely time was had by all! The "days til Christmas" chain is a new idea for me. Best of all, you're helping your grands build some great childhood memories--that's worth everything.
I love anytime I have with my great grandson. Everyone else too big now. I love the fact they are making some of the decorations. In my young days, that is all we had. We used popcorn and made these chains and much more.
Wow, you have all kinds of fun at your place! I'll have to try those pretzel candies, very yummy looking. They did a great job with the tree and chain too!
The girls enjoy spending time at GJ and Grandpa's. You always treat them so good - just like a grandma should. No wonder they love you sooooooo much!
Oh, I had forgotten about the countown to Christmas chains. What fun times! You are a lucky grandma.
Looks like a fun and filled day to bring in Christmas spirit!
oh dear, you are already decorating. I don´t do that until , the day before x-mas eve. But of course, we have Lucia to celebrate before that. Lovely girls. :)
I know the girls really enjoyed themselves. Thanks for making memories with them.
What awesome helpers you have!
My goodness you had a really busy day with the girls. How fun! Lots of wonderful memories here
