Round Barn

This round barn is located in Biglerville Pa.  Its in the heart of Apple country, its a tourist spot that sells local produce and seasonal crafts.  Its a perfect Sunday drive for us through the beautiful countryside.
Go here if you would like to view more old barns across the country!

Is it a shaker barn? I know there is a round shaker barn in Massachusetts. They designed it because it was more practical.

This is a beautiful and very distinctive round barn. I can see why this would make a good feature of a place trying to sell produce. Very nice shot.

Round barns are awesome. Russian or German I think.
There is one in Eastern Washington and it is on the Historical Record. So great--thanks for sharing. MB

It would be hard to corner a cow or horse in a round barn. Talk about being dizzy, I would fall over.

Jan, I hope we both get a chance to see Right Whales this year, wouldn't that be terrific. Good luck to you and Jer!
