Introducing Nature Girl

I would like to introduce Grand Daughter # 2.age 12 in the 7th grade. We call her Nature Girl.  She loves to take pictures and write stories. I have decided to ask her to be a guest on my blog and she was thrilled.  She loves to read my blog and to look at all the photos. So below is her contribution! Hope you all enjoy it as much as I have! She would love to hear your comments!

I watch these horses in the pasture and think to myself what a horse does all day and What it would be like to be a horse. I don't know if I would want to be a horse but horses are very beautiful and very graceful. I walk down there sometimes and they are not my horses but I named almost every single one of them. Some of the names that I came up with are, Marsh, Mellow, Butterscotch, Cocoa, Cream, and Mini. I named the big white one Marsh and the little one Mellow. I named the light brown one Butterscotch because of its color. And I named the really small miniature horse Mini because when I think of him I think of small so its name would be Mini. There are some other horses but I couldn't think of any other names. Every time we pass the little farm I wish I had one of those miniature horses. Like that would ever happen though, because they are $500 and I cant afford  paying that, plus I need more land . I think where they are is good though because they have plenty of space to roam around in.

Hi Nature Girl. I am a horse lover too, and have had a few in my time. They are not only beautiful, but very loyal. I once had an Appaloosa mare names Misty. She was such a gentle horse, BUT terrified of cows! I just couldn't ride her anyplace in the country where there might be cows! If you check out my blog from yesterday you will see 2 of my neighbors horses,( they don't get ridden either) and the cute donkey they just adopted.
It's been fun reading your story.I like the names you picked out too. Well done.

Great story Nature Girl! Did you take the picture as well? Those little horsies are cute. And I think the names you have chosen are perfect.

You should definitely keep up with the writing. You have some talent. :)

We saw one of these on the news yesterday...in the back seat of a car going down the freeway !
I stayed in bed this morning instead of standing in line at The Today Show. You can stop watching now.
My signs were on yesterday, but with all the 3+million Bon Jovi fans who were there, I wasn't easily spotted.

Hi Nature Girl! Your names for the horses reminded me of my friend's cats. He named them Pork and Beans! Today there was a photo in our local paper of a beautiful white colt--I live in KY and we have lots of horses.

I hope you'll guest blog for your grandmother again some time. Learning to write well is a wonderful skill to develop both for your career and personal pleasure. Keep it up!
