Vacation Time Part 2

Last week Jer and I went to Orange Beach Al, for a commencement ceremony for him to receive his Masters Degree. This will be another blog coming soon.  For now I want to tell you about Chattanooga Tn. This was our first stop on our long drive and we wanted to take in some tourist spots.  The first stop was the Incline railroad, this takes you one mile straight up to the top of look out mountain. What a spectacular view we had.

We drove downtown to the river front area and fell in love with it!  It was such a beautiful setting right on the Tennessee river. The pedestrian bridge spans over the entire river and I believe its the longest in the USA There was so much for a family to do...the Aquarium, Discovery center and Performing arts center were all there  within a block.  The museum of American history was housed in three separate buildings.Take a ride on a river boat.  If you wanted a bite to eat or shop, it was just a short walk to the many restaurants and stores. We were so happy that we paid a visit to this very lovely town.

I love your photos here! I recently saw the "waterfall" on another blog, though for the life of me I cannot remember which one! Looks like a great trip. Certainly made for some great memories captured here.

If I had gone, I'd still be there taking pictures. It's such a neat place.

I took that tram ride many years ago. New car since then. I remember the scene below being breathtaking, as these pictures show.
