Baby Wrens

A Mama red headed wren has decided to nest 5 little babies, in my hanging plant on the front porch. It has been fun to watch her feed them and watch them grow.

I have a family of robin red breasts that take up residence each year either in window box or viburnum out front. so much fun to watch. Never got this nice closeup shot that you've done. Interesting nest construction. Robins are very stringey.

Have a good week, Janis.

I have "house sparrows" nesting on my patio. Boy! Are they noisy.

I do not know what a red-headed wren is.

So sweet! Thanks for sharing. It's nice when animals make homes near ours. It makes me feel they trust me. Like they know I won't hurt them. A hanging plant, thought? Haha.

This is wonderful! Instead of watching flowers grow you get to watch baby birds..
