Rain is good. The crops really needed a good drink!

What a cute way to transition to Watery Wednesday. After so much hot weather, rain seems like a gift. We got some yesterday. Now we don't have to water the garden. Yippie!

Rain in due season is certainly something to be thankful for. I think your African Violet is very thankful, and I am thankful you dropped by.

It certainly looks like a good soaking rain, too, not a little teaser like we are getting now!

We have needed rain here also. It's been a very humid and hot summer with not much rain. The rain in your pictures looks good to me.

I'm sure after those hot temps you all needed some rain and I bet it felt wonderful! But, now it's probably humid?

Nothing better than needed rain Jan! Nice pictures. I scrolled down a few posts - the butterfly pic was lovely.

Oh, I so wish it would rain here. But, then I live in what's called The High Desert, so chances of that happening a slim to none.
FYI: Contest is up and running at my place.

it sprinkled here, too.
But it made it so humid I thought I would suffocate

Folk often joke about our English weather ;-)
But here we have a hosepipe ban because reservoirs are so depleted.
Brilliantly ironic as July 15th St Swithin's day it rain... Folklore has it that St Swithin 'cursed' and said we'd get 40 days of rain after rain fell on his day.
