After much research and talking myself into it...I graduated to a DSLR camera. It was between a Canon Rebel XS or the Nikon D3000 and you can see the winner. My point n shoot Canon did me well for the past year and I think I got some pretty good shots with it. But now I am ready to take it a little further...I want to learn n experiment with getting off the green square and auto feature. There is so much more to getting a great photo and I am ready to learn. So far I have been having fun testing out my new toy. I am looking forward to expanding my horizons.. Stay tuned for the fruits of my labor...haha! This is the perfect time of year to look for photo ops.

You're inspiring me to become a better photographer, Janis. Should follow your example and take a few lessons. Can't wait to see what you find through the lens.

I'm in for your Mon Funday. Have not a clue what you're going to assign us, but since I usually don't ever follow the rules, does it matter?
