Are We Crazy

Well folks...you will probably think we are crazy...but...we are going from cold to colder. It is sad to say that we have to cut our wintering in the south short by one month. Jer has developed some pain in his back n leg and has to see his Doctors in Pa. The weather here in Ga. has been below norm temps for this time of year 50's for the high n 20's for the low...it should be high 60's n low 40's. Of course we felt fortunate to have escaped the two big nor'easters that dumped four feet of snow on our little town of Hanover Pa. It is just starting to warm up a bit here and we really do hate to leave Ga. but we gotta do what we gotta do. I understand the big mounds of snow are slowly melting in Pa. and maybe there will be no more snow fall in the forecast. We are heading out today....so we are praying for good travel weather and maybe an early spring for the frozen north! See u next year beach n sand n ocean...sigh:(

Yes it has been the coldest longest winter in the south that I can remember.
Prayers for safe travels and nothing seriously wrong with Jer.

Grr. Oh, the joys of aging. Bob and I always say "it's better than the alternative." Have a safe trip, and all the best to Jer.

Yes, you are crazy but, I know Jerry wants to to feel good again. Looking at your pictures make me long for warmer days. The turtles are so cute.

Oh I love the turtles! I sure do miss mine - NOT!

Glad you made it home safely to PA. At least you have the option of hopping in the car and driving South any time you want to a lovely GA cottage just minutes from the beach!

Dagnabbit! So sorry you have to cut your "over wintering" short, but I'm sure Jer wants to be in the hands of his own doctors. Hope his problems don't mess up the dancing!

Safe travels.

BTW, I'm hosting Fun Monday on the 15th. Stop by on Wednesday to sign up--late Wed. That is!

I think this winter is unusually cold and long everywhere. We too have still very cold weather - 4°C (27 F) ! in March !! and it snowed in places where it nevers snows usually, it's just crazy. Fortunately they don't talk about "global warming" anymore, that became really ridiculous !
