Breakfast at Pat's
This past weekend we once again had the pleasure of going to Daytona Beach Florida for a mini getaway. It was a beautiful sunny and mild 70 degrees. One of our favorite places to eat is a little hole in the wall called..."Pat's Riverfront Cafe". Like the name says...its located right on the Halifax river. When you walk through the door it's like a blast from the past...Jer n I have been going there since 1992 and believe me...nothing has changed. It's frozen in time. Breakfast n lunch are the only two meals served 7 days a week. This is a place where the locals go...it does not need to advertise. Due to the small size of the cafe there is usually a wait no matter what time we get there. The food is good and plenty of it. Not to mention the price is right. We love to share our little Jewel on the river when we have company, no one has ever walked away hungry or disappointed. This is one place we miss since we started wintering in Ga. four years ago, it felt good to be there. Of course we came out full as a tick! FYI..my WW photo is displayed at the entrance into the cafe.

I hope this was a two hour breakfast and that you had a river view table, Janis. Glad you're enjoying your wintering over in warmer climes. When do you head north again--or is that too depressing to think about yet?
I love Pat's on the Riverfront. It's a quaint place with delicious food. My favorite is eggs benedict.
The photos scream warmth. Sigh. I long for breakfast at Pat's.
Boats, Good Food, Warm Weather, that's hard to beat. See ya next week here in winter land!

Sounds like a place I'd go to back up in New York. Eddie's had great seafood, great service and the only complaint one would have is the nearly hour wait to get in. It was sure worth it though!
