Step Into My Favorite Room

I am the hostess this week and the challenge was to show us your favorite room and tell us why!
Please join me while I take you on a tour of my favorite room. We are wintering at our villa in Brunswick Ga. and the Sun room is where I love to spend my time. As a matter of fact...if I could...I would take this room back to our home in Pa. and attach it onto the back of my house. This room is so bright n warm as the sun shines in for most of the morning hours.
It is so peaceful here...to sit n read, eat lunch, listen to music or just gaze out the window.

The birds have not found the feeder yet...last year we had the most beautiful cardinal come and visit. I added a hummingbird feeder and am keeping a steady watch and hoping we can attract some. The temps are now in the 60's during the day so I keep my fingers crossed that soon they will appear.

Take a close look through the door and you will see a lake within our view. Even though its through a fence, we can still see the birds that come to fish. We are lucky that we have privacy and such a quiet setting. I thought about putting up blinds...but I am not in any hurry.

Scan down to the next post for the list of players.. so you can go see their favorite room. Thanks for playing...We need a host for next week....let me know if you are interested!

I had the pleasure of spending a little time in this room myself and it is definitely a wonderful room for just about anything. It is so open and bright and so close to nature. I can see why you spend the majority of your time in there.

I am so jealous! What a beautiful place to be. Right now we have torrential downpours...mud EVERYWHERE! Ugh. I am glad you are enjoying your time south!

I agree with you on nixing the window coverings. Love the unobstructed views you have to enjoy out the windows. I hope you're getting the chance to try many new coffee flavors while you sit in this lovely sunroom, Janis. Are we retirees lucky or what?!

I'm sure its hard to leave when winter is over. Other than to get back to the family. Hope ya'll are having nice weather. It's windy here today but other than that it's warming up nicely.
I hope we get a chance for lunch before the winter is over.

I LOVE that room. A chaise, a glass of iced tea and a good book is all I'd need to be content there for hours.

oh gorgeous!
I'm sorry I didn't play -- got caught up with other distractions away from blog world.

I could enjoy a sun room - the last few days I could enjoy the sun if it would peak thru the clouds.

I agree with you about your sun room being a perfect place to read, have your morning coffee, or just sit and listen to the wildlife. It's also private so there's no need for blinds.

Jan...I'm sorry that I bombed out of this one unexpectedly, my health is up and down at the moment and I'm finding it hard to keep up with some stuff online.

I haven't done a post for this one, I'll bow out of FM's for a little while until the health thing is a bit more sorted out.

But I will tell you, my favourite room is my bedroom, at the moment, hubby is sleeping in the spare room so he can let me get the rest I need (not that it works all the time, I still have trouble sleeping). It's just that the bedroom is like a sanctuary at the moment for me. I love your room though.
