Whats Your Favorite Show ?

FUN MONDAY

Hello everyone, Thank you all for playing today. Here is what I have to say about my favorite shows on TV. I am a sitcom kind of girl, I love to be entertained and laugh. I simply cannot wait until the fall premier of "The Office" I have been following this show since the very beginning. The cast of characters are so well suited, the humor is very dry and that is what appeals to me. Anyone who has ever worked in an office can relate to this show. The Boss, Michael Scott played by Steve Carrell thinks he is the coolest and funniest boss, which makes him intolerable to his staff and the rest of the company. He is very naive in many ways so that endears him to viewers.

Everybody loves Raymond is in reruns and I try to catch them when I can. The Barone family is dysfunction at its best. Great cast of characters and funny, funny story lines.

The King of Queens starring Kevin James , Leah Remini and Jerry Stiller is another show in syndication that I try to catch. Funny Funny FunnyI also look forward to Dancing with The Stars, So you think you can dance and American Idol.

Jer is a sports, action shows and history channel kind of guy. We spend a lot of evenings with him in the L.R and me in our B.R watching our favorites. All I can say is, thank goodness we have two TV's in the house. Did I mention I love watching Dr.Phil and Oprah too? Oh and Desperate Housewives and the Today show and HGTV....ok I'll stop!

Now go see what the rest of our tv viewers watch....scan down to see the list!

Who wants to host next week??? let me know and I will spread the word!

I've never watched "The Office" before. Now I'm going to have to try and catch it sometime soon.

My F M is posted. Thanks for hosting and coming up with such a terrific topic.

Oh I have to admit although Im not much of a TV girl, DH loves TV and drives me nuts with these shows. He is one of those repetitive tv watchers, I think I could probably quote Seinfield even though I don't really watch it! GRRRRRR! Sorry I did not join in this week, I really want to but am finding it really hard to sit down and actually write anything these days. I like catching up with you all though so am trying to visit all my Fun Monday friends! Take care! Hugs and smoochies. xxx

I love Everybody Loves Raymond! I also love Seinfeld. I laughed at it when I was pregnant with Ty and broke my water!

Yay for the Office! It got a mention over at my post too. My only problem with it is that sometimes, it is TOO "on point" and it reminds me too much of things I am all too familiar with.

Steve Carell does a great job - he dances on that line, so while he's intolerable most of the time, he just keeps it on this side of unbearable. I find myself liking him in spite of myself.

Thanks for hosting! Great topic!

Since we ARE the Barones, we love reruns of Raymond, too. In fact, we were quite sad when it ended.

You follow some of my fav sitcoms--watch them in reruns, Janis. Steve C. was so funny in "Little Miss Sunshine". Love Raymond, like everybody does--great chemistry in that relationship. Two TVs make for peace on the homefront?

You name a lot of shows I don't know or we have them here under another title in French.

I love all of the shows you mentioned, especially King of Queens. I can watch re-runs over and over again and still laugh at them all.

I'll separate paths with you on Sitcoms - although I enjoyed them at one time in my life.

I love DWTS. I do get upset when things go awry -- like last season when Lil Kim got booted off and it wasn't because of her dancing. She was really a joy to watch. (although my daughter told me that her lifestyle was pretty rancid)
I'm sure it was because of the nasty reactions of her fans in the audience. I felt bad for her.

I hate it when people vote as a popularity contest. BUT, that being said, I was rootin' for the cowboy because he was such a gentleman, especially after he really got cat-o-nine tailed by the judges. I wish they could criticize without being mean.

Hmm, some of those pass this way, too. Bob, the remote man, loves baseball and football, so those are on, in season.

I too love The Office and the dry sense of humor Steve Carrell delivers. Can't wait for Idol.

I never really got into desperate housewives. Although, quite a few of the TV shows are made for different countries I'm hearing about some that I don't know. Thanks for hosting this week.
