Show us your Feet

Our Hostess from Brussels/ Belgium Gattina has stepped up to the task for FM this week, here is here assignment.

Please show us what you wear on your feet inside your home ! Do you wear slippers, flip flops, shoes or nothing ? just take a picture and show us your feet !

Well here we go, I wear slippers during my time in the house. One of my little quirks is, I can not stand to go bare foot on bare floors or outdoors. Blame it on my dear sweet Mother, she never allowed me or my siblings to go barefoot, we always had to wear shoes outside and slippers inside. So to this day, I can not stand my feet getting dirty. I fess up, I have boring feet! The photo below is the standard type of slipper I like to wear, ugly but they keep my feet warm and clean.

Now go and see what everyone else wears on their feet. click here!

I hear you about the barefoot thing, especially if you don't have carpeting on floors. That's why someone smart invented flip flops--or nice cozy felted slippers in the RIGHT colors, grey and black.

Have a good week, Janis.

I've considered putting slippers at our front door (Or shoe covers) I'm starting to get paranoid about all the things that are on peoples feet.

I don't care for barefoot much either.

Oh, I would've given your poor mom a terrible time! I'm barefoot all the time while at home! And I have no carpeting, either...but this is Miami where the temps are just about always hot.

Oh now, this sounds like dear man of mine...his mother would also not allow them to go barefooted at any time....and he only is seen without socks when he's in the shower.

We have more or less the same type of slippers at home! ;)

Happy Fun Monday...

I love to be bare footed in the summer, but I love my warm slippers in the winter! Happy FM!

Great post! Your slippers look lovely and warm. Your Mom was a lot like my mom, it seems - we were never allowed to go barefoot either, especially not outside. Happy FM to you!!

This has been a fun Fun Monday. Your slippers are comfortable and practical. I went barefoot all the time until just a few years ago. I think it's my age, old.

Wow! What a great topic. I change shoes three times a day. Slippers first thing in the morning, then walking shoes for Norma Jean dog and regular shoes the rest of the day. I couldn't imagine going barefoot outside anytime of the year. Tender feet seven days a week! Thanks for fun Monday. John

My mother didn't allow us to go barefoot either - maybe that's why I do now !! In my home - my rules. Those slippers aren't ugly, they look comfy.

I used to love going barefoot, but anymore my feet begin to ache if I am barefoot too long.

I used to be the same way, but strangely in the past year I love to go barefoot!!

I'd rather be barefoot....but in the wintertime, on these tile floors , with the pain I manage to get in my heels....it's always best to just wear at least socks.

I also married a man who wasn't allowed to go barefoot - - but I was and it's been a sore trial for our children to get such conflicting messages.
