Well another good thing is going away! That's right, the York peppermint Pattie is going to Mexico. The Hershey company of York Pa. made the announcement today. Another piece of America gone down the tubes. What is next?
I love York patties with peanut block. They are moving because of the global market thing. We have to learn to compete. I guess the juice isn't worth the squeeze for York. Better deal down south. Still, it saddens me to see them go.
That totally sucks! When I was buying Valentine's Day candy a couple of weeks ago, there was this irate woman in the candy aisle. She walked past me and muttered something about the "Damn Hershey people." I just smiled and walked by having no idea what she was talking about. I bet she caught wind of outsourcing news and was determined not to buy their product!
I love Hersheys milk chocolate. Companies leave this country because of high corperate taxes and regulations, we need to make this a business friendly country to keep and increase businesses. Better Mexico than China.

I pray it's not the Milky Way!
Sorry I've been away so long. I've been sidetracked by the ice storm. Did you do away with winter while I was gone? Tell me you did.

It's a lovely hibiscus, for sure!

Say it ain't so! If Hershey decides to can the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, I will go into mourning. That's too dreadful to contemplate :-)
