More Tid Bits from The Golden Isles in Ga.

One of the fun things to do on St Simons Island is to go around the town and find these "Tree Spirits". There are three of them to be found and each one is different. They are carved right into a live Oak tree. (click on ) to read the history of the "Tree Spirits"

More Tid Bits on The Golden Isles next week! Stay tuned!

I'm comin' to GA in '09. For several reasons...one is because one of our daughters and her family live there...two, I've always been mesmerized after reading Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil...three, I'm coming to see you and go find all the tree spirits. I've seen some items in different catalogs that you can buy to "nail" spirits to them. Problem is, we don't have a tree big enough to add those spirits. I'll just have to conjure up some spirits of my own !

That is really neat. Just another attraction we will have to check out on our visit! The girls will love that!
