Do you have a piece of jewelry or other item that holds a great personal significance for you, and that you wear or keep with you everyday? Show a photo of your Talisman and tell us why it is so important to you.
I have three pieces of jewelry that I hold close to my heart (besides my wedding ring). The first is a necklace that belonged to my Grandmother, it is a black onyx with a small pearl in the middle. I really don't think it is worth much in value, but it is very sentimental to me. Even though I don't wear it everyday, when I do, I think of my dear sweet Grandmother
The second piece of jewelry is the first ring that my Husband gave me when we were dating.
It is a heart shaped sapphire with small diamonds surrounding it. Not to mention it's also my birth stone. Besides my wedding ring, this is the ring I wear the most.
The third piece of jewelry is a bracelet that was given to me by my "Secret Sister" at our church. It says "friends in Christ are friends forever" I wear this bracelet quite a bit and get a lot of compliments on it. It makes me feel close to the Lord.

Wow! You have many talismans. I love the heart sapphire ring. Your husband treats you well in the jewelry department. I adore the "Friends in Christ" bracelet as well!
The value is not in the metal but the meaning and they all have great value if you ask me.
Lovely talismans, Janis! I loved how you set each one up so we could see them clearly. I put my rings on a T-shirt...not quite as pretty :-) Beautiful items and lovely stories to match - thanks for playing this week!!
These are lovely, and so individually special. Enjoy them all :-)
Wow...
I love the first...looks so classic!
The second one...well, it's romantic and all!
And the last...WOW! Love it...
Love them all!
I love the sapphire ring - I am quite partial to them myself - they are part of my wedding ring.
Those are some really beautiful pieces of jewelry. The ring your husband gave you is just stunning. And I really like the bracelet and the idea of having a "secret sister" at church :)
I agree, the items themselves only have monetary value, which is no value at all. The real value is personal.
Wow, a cool Fun Monday post. I really like your choices to share with us.
Those are wonderful! I love that they all mean something special to you.
I like the bracelet. Thanks for sharing :)

what a collection all with such memories, thank you for sharing, Judyx
I love this jewelry, especially the necklace from your grandmother. So unique and stunning.
Thanks for much for stopping by my blog. You may certainly add me to your list. I appreciate it. And I bought a netti pot today! It looks intimidating, but I'm desperate enough to give it a try.
What nice people you have in your life. Great reminders!
