Time to Turn the Page

Well Hello everyone....it has been a long break for me.  First computer problems and then life all of a sudden got very busy for Jer and myself.   I found I could not devote a lot of time to my blog...posting on FB kinda took over.  My phone camera replaced my SLR camera too.  I got real lazy about going out on photo shoots.
WE are back from Florida and are in the process of downsizing and looking for a smaller house.  Thank God we are still in good health but we want to be pro-active and get into a home that has everything on one floor.  I debated whether or not to even blog anymore.  When I think of everything we have to do in the next 6 months overwhelms me a little.   We are staying focused on what is in front of us to do each day.  The time has come for us to CLEAR OUT all the STUFF we have accumulated through the years.  We will be starting a "KEEP" and get "RID OF" box.
With all this being said.. Sad to say, I will not be hosting Friday's Fences anymore. I have too many irons in the fire right now and can not give enough attention to this fun Meme!  If anyone out there would like to take it over, feel free to do so.  In the event no one takes it over, I may consider hosting again once my life settles down.  Hope you all are doing well...I do visit your blogs every now and then just to see what you'r up to! I may post once and a while as things progress in our newest adventure.  Stay tuned and take care!  Happy Spring ...it finally arrived!!!

I understand what you mean. I have decided. I might as well get rid of some of these things I thought I could not live without. Give to my kids what they want and move on. Regret not having Fridays Fences. It was a fun and easy post to find pictures. I do not know enough to take it over. Trust someone will. Best wishes and good health in whatever you do.

Sending wishes for a happy and easy transition as life changes...it's doing it for us all, just as the earth tilt brings us the seasons. Thanks for doing Friday Fences, of which I participated a few times. Hope to see you here again later on!

I have missed Friday's fences but understand what you are going through. I see myself going thru a downsizing and getting rid of things in the near future.

Good to see you here again. I know what you mean about cleaning out and downsizing. I haven't had as much time to post either and have thought about quitting but just can't do
it.:)
It looks like Tex may pick up the Friday Fence meme.

We are planning on moving too and trying to persuade our sons to take their stuff or let me get rid of it. Half our house is full of things that belong to them. Sorry that you won't be doing Friday fences anymore, they were good fun. Best of luck with the de cluttering and your move.

So glad to hear from you. I do hope things settle down for you. Look forward to hearing from you occasionally. Would miss it if you totally quit blogging (but I do understand).

What a shame Good luck with the move.

Hope Tex takes up the gauntlet. Though if you're listening Tex, I cannot leave comments on your blog - it just says service disabled.

I hear you, friend. I haven't posted since end of January. My blog needs a re-design and re-focus and other interests and responsibilities are taking my time.

How wise of you and Jer to make this housing transition now. As I make needed improvements and remodels to my home, want to be sure that they're right for my "golden" years. See you on Facebook!

Welcome back and good luck by your project. This is an great and sad thing...
I miss "Friday's Fences", but I'm technically completly inept to take on this meme :-(
Have a nice spring (in spite of everything)

I totally understand...I'm presently downsizing some more. I want to do it while in good health. I'm even moving closer to my children. I will miss Friday Fences...I loved joining in with you.

I've been on hiatus myself, dealing with the death of my dear husband and best friend after 44 years of wonderful marriage. It's been a long struggle, but I'm getting back into blogging and as you mentioned I've spent a good deal of time on FB too, posting lots of my pictures on there. Just got back from Florida too from an 8 day vacation and I really wish I could have spent more time. This brutal cold winter up here is getting very old. Spring seems to have gone to sleep. Check out my FB page under Becky Linton, and maybe we could be friends. Take care.

So pleased to have you back in blogland, and a shame you won't be doing FF's anymore. Will be keeping an eye out for your blogging.
GOod luck with the new adventure.

I see now that you have had a blogging break too. Until this week, I had only posted 3 blog posts for the entire year (1 in Jan and 2 in Feb) and last year saw a HUGE drop in my usual blogging activity by around a quarter. Life and chronic health issues (including 2 surgeries and a DVT) just got in the way and I didn't get out with my camera nearly as much as usual.

Anyway... I hope the cleaning up and moving goes well for you both and you find some time to get out and capture some beautiful images in your rest/relax time.

This image is gorgeous and I love the texture you have applied.
