Friday's Fences ~ # 93

                        It's very rare to see a brown picket fence....I think I like white better.

    I think I would like white better too, but I agree with Tex..someone else would have to paint it!

    White is certainly more traditional but the brown looks kind of nice. :)

    I like fences on other people's property, but to me it looks like work - both painting and mowing around. :-)

    Brown or white, it looks like it encloses a pretty garden.

    I prefer white too but I like the shape of the pickets in this on.

    It does seem odd to see a brown version of a picket fence. But perhaps it bests suits the house style.

    Yes, a white picket fence is more striking.... but we love fences of ANY style and color, right???

    I have seen brown before as well and I agree with you. White is better. There are some things that you just shouldn't mess around with.

    Kind of unexpected color, isn't it? Okay for some gardens and locations. White picket is "southern" for me. This brown picket New England gardens, perhaps? I can just hear the New Englanders saying 'no, no we use white too!" :-)

    Only way to paint that one well is with a sprayer I would think. I kinda like white but any color that goes with the house looks good. Nice closeup! :-)
