Did anyone else see the sky this past Sunday....this is what I saw here in my neck of the woods. My oldest Grand daughter saw it first. We were headed to McDonalds for lunch when she said..look..theres a rainbow around the sun. We got our cameras and started snapping away... It stayed this way for well over and hour.
A sun dog or parahelion. I didn't see one where I live.
ReplyDeleteYes! That's what I saw too, Janis except that the color followed the clouds--almost looking like they were rainbow colored. My smart cousin calls them "cloudbows". Glad you had camera--I didn't until evening.
